MIDDLE-EASTERN INVADERS Very scary. This shows our immense vulnerability. I don't see how we can solve this problem other than with a national ID card based on biometrics that can quickly be checked by every cop in the country and that is required for things like renting a car or house and staying at a hotel. Visitors can easily be issued one upon entry in seconds. I know it sounds like a police state but Europe has variants of this for decades and its democracy has not suffered.

Coupled with the report from the Mexican newspaper I linked yesterday, this is a very disturbing report. I have always thought that the Mexican border would be a much easier way for Middle Eastern terrorists to get into the US. Only Allah to help them, though if they are trying to get into the US via the Sonoran desert or the Chihuahuan desert area near the Big Bend. These areas are killers in June and July.
