I would absolutely trust Clinton with a 15 year old. Of course. Are you insinulating he's a statuatory rapist? Of course you are. Any lie to smear him. LOL. You rightwingers never stop BS'ing and smearing do you? Meanwhile your own leaders are often dishonest finks, cowards and corrupt lowlifes.

Don't forget, Monica was just one of many political groupies coming onto Clinton, not the other way around. There are hundreds maybe thousands of political groupies in DC and any politician of either party can take advantage and sometimes do. They're like rock stars. Sex in DC is easy for powerful men. And the GOP is no cleaner. Sexual desire knows no party.

Clinton was nominated in 1992 long after the Gennifer Flowers incident, which made it obvious that he did play around. It could have ended Clinton's career a la Ryan, Livingston and Hart but it didn't. That infuriated the character assasins on the right.

Let's also remember that many presidents have had dalliances. However until the Gingrich crew came in the proper code was to not hurt the country by going into a president's personal life. The rightwing in the 90's made it so that nothing is private anymore, so they changed the rules for good. That hurts the country enormously.

CLinton was just too dynamic a candidate to be brought down by any of this though. He made a fantastic president, hugely successful. But boy did that make the rightwing jealous. They couldn't beat him any other way so they figured "we know he has one weakness', let's go for it".

Everyone knew Bill played around, so the rightwing pretended the investigation was about Whitewater, then switched gears into a sexual dirt hunt and came up with something. End of story. CLinton left office with 65% approvals. The rightwing upped the ante for dirty divisive politicking and the office of the special prosecutor has been forever compromised. Shame of the rightwing most of all for this, though of course Clinton was a fool to be so careless.
