re: Its been said repeatedly that these bills are not likely to see the light of day. However, I would feel more comfortable after this country develops a national policy on how it wants to deal in this world. Its clear we can't run helter skelter starting wars whenever we get a bug up our butts. I wouldn't dismiss this out of hand. Wait until after the election, when things have a tendency to change. I would be surprised if a draft is put into place but I suppose anything is possible. I just hope that we get real clear what our role in the world is to be before that happens. ted
