I was a little nutty over Y2K but nothing like 9/11. If I didn't have kids, I don't think I'd be so worried. Motherhood makes one irrational. But. The other day, I forget exactly what, but I mentioned that I wasn't taking care of something-or-other, and the kids got all bent out of shape because they expect me to keep up with the supplies. They make fun of me but they still expect me to do it. unclewest may seem rather obsessed, but he's exactly the kind of person you'd wish for as a neighbor in times of need.
