How did someone so dumb manage to earn a degree from Yale? Assuming Pres Bush is as dumb as many Liberals claim, how is he capable of all the intricate deceptions & complicated political maneuverings as charged by Massive Moore? Liberals want to believe GW is stupid and diabolically clever at the same time. Possibly it's fallout from John Kerry's flip flop strategy. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! You seem very naive! Bush does not have to be smart at all to earn a degree at Yale. Nor was Bush the sole formulator of those failed policies. Bush is a mere puppet. He has many advisers and cronies and think-tank guys to come up with lots of ideas. Unfortunately, in their overeagerness to get results that matter they miscalculated badly and so their best laid plans went horribly awry! By the way, did you know that universities routinely confer honorary degrees on the rich and powerful who make vast endowments to them? By the same token, some scions of rich and powerful families have been able to "buy" degrees from more than one university. (BTW, some countries sell passports/citizenship for a very hefty fee.) BTW, I have heard of a few guys who enjoy flaunting a triple-display of degrees from Harvard, Yale and Princeton.

How did someone so dumb manage to earn a degree from Yale? Cyberann, he got in because poppy went there. The university of Texas turned him down when he applied there.

Nobody said Bush is "dumb", just not interested in reading, writing and doing his homework. He has never, he never will and frankly that has really hurt us. for instance, if he had read the 8-6-01 warning about the imminent Al Qaida hijackings in the US --- Bush is a cheerleader with a famous last name, decent looks and very powerful family friends. That's it. He doesn't do policy, cannot make speeches without scripts and really doesn't understand the world very well. In fact he doesn't even seem to be interested in the world. He admitted to Brit Hume he doesn't even read newspapers much less books or policy papers.
