Open dining was ok. Make reservations so you don't have to wait, or eat later. We missed not having the same waiters We did meet more people that way on the nights they sat us at big tables. That is a plus. Maybe reserve the same table, if you eat early.

We didn't seem to connect with any of the crew like last time. I think there may be a company policy restricting fraternization, or maybe the automatic gratuity dampens their ardor. I liked the multinational crew; 52 countries, vs 3 or 5 on HAL. I had 2 really cool waiters from Jamaica and Trinidad, but only one night each.
Lots of subtle little differences that just put it below the other one. No self service laundry, seemed like less quantity and variety of eats, altho very plentiful. Chocolate on the bed only for about a week. (Maybe we were supposed to tip on top of te automatic gratuity deduction; I dunno; we aren't that sophisticated.
Hardest ship-time was for the driving voting but not yet 21 year old kids. They couldn't hang near music until late. They couldn't drink; really difficult for the kids from La. who buy at 18. Groups would go, and enjoy, the shows, but aside from the usual, like wireless net and coffee BS sessions, it was dull for them.
It was just some little things. If I didn't have anything to compare it with, I would have rated it better. Especially after a double dose of lobster tail one night.
I heard our ship is being sold in a few years. The original vessel was cut down the middle and another ship was genetically engineered into the middle, so it took me a long time to learn to navigate.
