The best Kerry can do is win the battleground states. In some of the red states Bush leads him by 20-30%. That's another reason why the nation-wide polls aren't as important. A 32% lead in Oklahoma doesn't mean anything for Bush. The fact is Bush is now in a position where he must win almost all the battleground states. Kerry only needs one big one or two smaller ones. advantage Kerry, but anything could happen, including a 269-269 tie (and civil war probably, LOL)
