Thanks Elroy. I think the market has already discounted the Irish mess in NAB. It has been known for some time, and if they end up selling the Irish bank, it may turn out to be a silver lining. I am prepared to wait out my NAB position for around a year or so -- my stop loss is 23.5 AUD. I needed some more exposure to the AUD and with a 6+% dividend and a price near its post 9/11 low it met my "buy low sell high" criterion. There is 50-50 chance that the dividend will be lowered though.
