If troops having body armor is so important to junior (as it is to most) why did he send our men to war without first making sure they had it? I mean he is the one who now says his "threat" from Iraq wasn't imminent isn't he? Surely he could have waited to send them to war until they were properly equipped couldn't he? When he tries to say Kerry voted against body armor for our troops isn't he admitting that they were sent into battle improperly equipped? Is he being misleading by saying Kerry voted against body armor when the body armor funds accounted for less than one third of one percent of the 87 billion? Yes he is. He won't tell the whole story about it, Kerry voted for the funds till the neocons changed the bill so it didn't include the provision that the money would come from taking back 5,000 dollars from each of the super-richs tax present.

PANTS ON FIRE! Lol! "I actually voted for the war before I voted against it." Sorry, he's on the record for consistently voting against weapons programs and has repeatedly called for defense cuts. In 1993 he wanted to freeze the defense budget for 7 years. You don't get the most liberal voting record in the Senate by accident--MK--
