My background? Well, in brief: graduated in -78 (heck, I learned to design amplifiers using electron tubes at the university), but have learned a few things after that. The last 12 years in the mobile phone industry, most time in the middle management, but stepped down in the organization a couple of times to create something new (I tend to be a pioneer kind of person). Worked with analog, TDMA, CDMA and WCDMA systems. My specialty as an engineer is system design, and I still (despite of my age) am fully ready to lead in creating something new again (well, like OFDM, or 4G in general). So basically: I have seen the new systems to replace the old ones. Also: I will not be able to tell you everything I know for two reasons: I have NDA with the company, and at some points of time, I have also insider information.
