I don't agree with Moore, in fact, I think he's extremely dishonest, but just wanted to point out that the big name professional reviewers all say that the film is flawed and one-sided, although they also think it's brilliant.

It's clearly intended to influence the upcoming Presidential election. Its sell-by date is ticking.

If you just detach from the 2004 election and think of it as a polemic, an expression of a certain point of view, then it's much easier to judge on its merits. I don't think it will hold up well, but he accomplishes what he set out to accomplish, express his outrage that an idiot like Bush is in the White House and half the country thinks that's a good thing.

So given all of your discussion of the film, I take it that you've seen Fahrenheit 9-11?

Thanks for posting those great reviews of Michael Moore's film, Nadine. I think I'll go and see it again! Would you like to come along? You might just learn something.

I have not seen Moore's film yet but I certainly won't write a review of it. Don't want to risk getting on your hit list.
