These polls differ a lot. From Bush up by 2% to Kerry up by 8%. Sounds like about a 3-4% up average. The CBS poll made it clear that the convention solidified Kery's support. In other words, those who support him now won't switch back (Kerry now around rock solid 47%, Bush rock solid 44%, 2% for others, so only 7% in play?) and also Kerry picked up a lot from veterans, a key voting block Bush depends on.

It looks like that Bloomington newspaper could collect that $10,000 from Moore. Classy move on their part to ask only for $1 and an apology. Will Moore have the class to actually apologize?

He hasn't had the class to call Ray Bradbury to discuss Bradbury's issues wrt Moore's ripping off the title to the movie, why should he have the class to acknowledge that he fabricated that newspaper headline?
