I'm glad the courts exonerated him absent a direct threat, but I also hope that the comparison of the boy's work to that of Plath (suicide, depression), Berryman (suicide attempts in his teens, later suicide) and Lowell (manic-depressive, several times hospitalized) suggests to his parents and powers-that-be that he may have serious emotional problems. The danger to himself may be greater than it is to others. There is often a price paid by poets and artists and musicians for their sensitivity to the world around them.
