Mish, You totally misunderstand. We have a Director of Central Intelligence and a Director of Homeland Security. This guy would deal with intelligence that is non-central and control the security of Awayland. <G> Seriously, I thought this was what Homeland Security was set up to do. Also, we will have a guy who can't hire or fire anybody in these agencies? No way! I've been in an indirect command position and it sucks. If somebody doesn't work for you, it is hard to get them to work for you instead of the person for whom they do work. Off the subject a bit, but having Bush and Intelligence in the same sentence may not qualify as oxymoronic, but it sure looks odd.
