Sure looks like it.

I saw a report today that said August is usually the worst month of the year... well, many seem aware of these reports so they moved August up to July perhaps?

It seemed to me that the markets are waiting for signs that either the economy is cracking or going to settle in at a 3 or 4% growth rate. I'd have thought the news from Taiwan where TSMC was raising 2005 Capital budget was good news... but the terorist fear probably trumped that news... for now.
