What I'm saying is we don't have all the facts. We don't know what orders he got and when or like me, how late. Without orders, you can't drill. If you aren't in the system you can't drill. The other thing is if you're going to drill, does anybody have any actual work for you to do? Whats the point of sitting around all weekend at taxpayer expense? Bush tried to fulfill his obligation within the constraints of his civilian employment. I think a lot of people would not have even tried to get a slot in Alabama. Instead of wasting everybodys time and money, the Guard should have released him from the rest of his short obligation.
