I appreciate your response. But you've listed his promises. I found his speech interesting because he was very short on articulating why he, versus others in his party who would make the same promises, is the man for the job. I think his skanty Senate record is why he's focusing so much on what he did in Vietnam 35 years ago. His Senate voting record does not really comport with the the way he's being packaged for consumption.
