Market is now trying to anticipate what it is going to anticipate. Getting so far ahead of itself at time, it and we lose total perspective. 6-9 months out is unclear enough but to try to figure our what will happen years from now is even worse. Mike

Thanks for the answer. Don't forget you can look up individual stocks too on a historical performance basis using Thompson's site. I set up A here since I know you like it. Average gain in August of slightly more than 6%:
