Well if it wasn't done then most likely somebody screwed up. However, since Bush was at Harvard Business School wasn't he eligible for a deferment anyways?

I don't think it is a case where someone screwed up. It is a case of a coverup. Where are the records?

No wayne, you can't go AWOL/desert and expect a deferment because you enroll in a school.

At that time attending b school didn't get you a deferment. Most went the ng route a few out of conscience or character enlisted or let themselves be drafted.
