This area is already very difficult for tourists and commuters due to the closings around the White House.

I turned on the TV first thing this morning to catch the weather forecast and there was Elinore Holmes Norton fussing about closing down the city and announcing a press conference for later today. Blockades on Independence Avenue seem draconian to me, too.
