I would have thought that G.W. Bush would plan a "terrorist" attack against the Republican National Convention precisely because he does want them to win - based on a sympathy vote.

He also needs an opportunity like this to replace the many Republican Senators and Congressmen who have turned against him with more docile party members.

good luck, never going to happen because the "extremists" you talk about are not extremists but rather freedom fighters trying to liberate their countries from American occupation. What part of that don't you understand?
