I was talking about Jay severin who is a republican operative and boston talk show host.
Imus is basically a conservative to moderate who has been against the iraq war, now violently so. He has had a long friendly relationship with Kerry who is great on his show by the way, and is comfortable with him as an alternative to bush. Believe me if it was dean he would not be supporting him. Imus's wife is very friendly with Teresa thru mutual charitable work they too. She too is basically a conservative to moderate as well.
And you wont like this John but even I see kerry as presidential enough. I disagree with kerryeconomics but i also disagree with social cons that are core bush supporters. I also dont necessarily believe that Kerry as president will automatically mirror kerry as senator from mass--the nations most liberal state. I think kerry is mostly a moderate and i think he recognizes the al queda danger unlike guys like dean and the left dems from the convention. Get used to it John--we may have no choice, President Kerry may be a reality. mike
