Its oil isn't it and its close to home. What more could Cheney and Halliburton want! Also all they would have to do is invade Alaska and Gulf of Mexico too!

Nobody would have scapped the 1991 Cease Fire Agreement if the SH didn't perpetually violate it. This was no new war at all. It was a continuation of the 1991 war because SH thought he could get away with his conduct forever and thumb his nose at the international community. He miscalculated once again. No President would attack a country for oil when we have plenty of oil in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico that has yet to be developed.
