just received the following letter from a friend whose thoughts echo those of many who served honorably in Viet-Nam. ******************************************************* The sight of john kerry saluting that raving bunch of liberal lunatics and saying "I'm reporting for duty!" smacks of michael dukakis and his tank! If he wants to do his duty, have him go back and serve the remaining 9 months of his Viet Nam tour! The choice this year is clear. Do you want a leader with an "Alamo" attitude who will to to the ramparts and fight or a French ecucated fop who wants to sit down and have dessert with the people who have sworn to kill us all? It's "Alamo" vs. A La Mode! Do battle or do batter! A slow talker vs. a double talker! You pick! I had two of my brothers in combat in Viet Nam, in the air and on the ground, when that swine accused them and the others of committing atrocities. One served 13 months and the other did 2 tours. After 16 years of voting to cut military spending that phony S.O.B. says he'll keep the military strong! What horse shit! So how was your day?
