I am certain some of these al-quida sightings are real, and if we really wanted to protect ourselves REALLY we would close the borders. But since that approach is apparently "off the table" we have to live with these constant terror alerts. I heard a pundit on TV a week or so ago say something like "well, these are bad times in the US and therefore we need to disseminate bad news". These are BAD TIMES. Ok, well millions of people are out of work and this attitude simply prolongs their pain and pushes our economy into a sort of stagnant no mans land.
