No one mentions what will happen to our military if Kerry is elected. Will there be a flood of service people that opt for early retirement? Will recruitment offices continue to see the same numbers of enlistees? Will Kerry have to call up the draft when there is another attack.....afterall didn't Kerry say he'd respond to any attack with force? What force?

I can't think of a good reason why a person would want to serve under a Commander that took great pains to denigrate and defame the US military like Kerry did when he returned from VN, but that's just me. I haven't read where republicans have tried to discredit Kerry's service in VN...that's another lie.

If there is a large contingent of veterans who come to the repub convention in support of GWB will that make a difference.....Kerry certainly tries to use them to further his campaign even though the numbers are pitifully small.

Maybe republicans other than those in the Bush administration have attacked Kerry's record....which is their right, but Bush has been above the fray and has remained dignified.
