I would rather the House and Senate decide who they want to avoid a lot of people voting based on 30 sec soundbites on television. I believe this was strongly debated by our Founding Fathers, but rejected. Of course they had no inkling of TV and Michael Moores. And yes, talk of stupidity, in todays paper a woman wrote complaining of President Bush's cutting the VA benefits, when the truth is Bush has increased them some 40% since he took office. Actually Clinton decreased VA benefits in the 8 years he was in office, but these leftist dim-bulbs merely repeat those lies spewed by their handlers. Paavlov's dogs experiments come to mind of the liberal left. Facts are of no importance. KM
