President Bush does not count. He was not in country. He has not tried to run on a Viet-Nam war hero record. I don't know if Ralph Nader served in the military. However, if he did, I am sure he did not avoid his military duty of serving 12 months. I say this because out of 2,500,000 veterans of the Viet-Nam war, kerry is the only person I that I am aware of who got credit for a 12 month tour after requesting reassingnment to the United States AFTER 4 MONTHS IN COUNTRY! List of Veterans who received credit for 12 month tour after serving 4 months in country: 1. kerry, in country - 4months
