There may be no jungles, but I can easily see Iraq becoming another Vietnam with "volunteer" guerrilla's infiltrating the country from all over the muslim world. I think there are about a billion muslims, is this correct? And there is no way we would ever get into a ground war with that many. Remeber our experience in Korea when the Chinese entered the war...
