ild, It can't be done. Not enough hot IPOs for you to make a living off of. The aggressive, small mutual funds used the IPO market to goose their returns, though it was a small part of the total portfolios. Then they got fined by the SEC for not telling clients that "our manager is not really a genius. He is simply able to buy something that is sold in limited quantity and which he can quickly sell for a generous profit. The impact of this game dimishes as your fund grows larger."
