Well, the hope is for the people to wake up, not for more casualties. In fact, I would be overjoyed if we can freeze the casualties at 918 dead (the toll to date) and not add even more name to the list.

However, I don't see what will wake people up (though about 50 percent now think the war is a mess, which is definitely better than the 70-80 percent supporting the war when it started) other than a draft.
