It was Kerry's comments about his wife's cleverness and outspoken candor that did it for me, I confess. Coupled with the "goons" comment.

Some public figures say nasty things about protestors, some (Bush is one) talk about how great it is that Americans can speak their mind freely.

It's not just a Republican/Democrat thing, either. Dems are accusing Nader voters of condemning the country to "four more years of hell".

It wasn't the words so much that bothered me....although lord knows she doesn't act like any first lady I'd approve of....it's her tromping over, pointing her finger and getting in the guys face that bugs the hell out of me.

She really doesn't seem to realize that no one else really cares a wit about her wealth. She acts like a bully.
