T, I think he was a good man not cut out to be President. He wanted to micromanage everything. And his handling of the Iran Hostage situation was horrible. True, Reagan was promising the Iranis the Moon to hold the hostages until after the election, but, as President, Carter should have had more clout than a mere candidate.
