Usually that happens with pets, plants signify something else. I'll hafta look around and see if I can't find out what.

I had a wonderful friend who died of breast cancer. Her daughter was suppose to be married in Oct., but her mother wanted to see her wedding, so she was married at another friends house with about 100 people in a beautiful May wedding.

Shortly after the wedding, my friend was nearing the end. She told me, she didn't mind dying but she would miss seeing her grandbabies.

About two years after her death, we went to her daughter's home for dinner and to see her new baby.

Her daughter told a similar story...when she brought her baby home from the hospital in November, there was one rose blooming in her back yard. She never knew there was a rose bush back there. The next day the rose had withered...but her memory lingered..

Her mother loved working in her yard, and shared many plants with her friends..she always said, "Anything you give away will come back tenfold..."

That was a sad story, Ish, but one with a nice touch at the end. Bet your Mom would have been pleased....she must have loved plants.
