Frankly, your thread idea is one of the best on SI from my point of view. I do hope I've found a new friend, but don't expect me to let you get by with much. I'll try to contribute from time to time. Thanks for the compliment. That story idea came from an actual memory of mine. It's not the usual topic for me. I got an honorable mention one time for a short story contest in which the limit was 200 words. That is a VERY difficult standard to meet. My first attempts almost always tallied twice that number.
