Spseaking of Funny...: Re the definition of "Politically Progressive," found this....

ACI syndrome (anal-cranial inversion syndrome) - n. serious medical disorder in which a person's head is wedged where the sun don't shine. ACI is a progressive disorder, sometimes terminal, and victims are frequently subjected to public ridicule, which they sometimes misinterpret as adulation and more frequently misinterpret as confirmation that they are on the right path to historical greatness. This is why ACI afflicts many prominent celebrities including Mike Farrell, Tim Robbins, Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand, Mike Tyson, Jane Fonda, Ed Asner, Michael Jackson, and Sylvester Stallone, see Stallone diagnosis: "terminal ACI". Mr. Stallone had apparently lived with the disease for many years before he was diagnosed. Reversal of symptoms is rare, particularly among celebrities. There is a rising trend of confirmed ACI cases among politicians. Other at-risk populations include historians, university professors, divas and rock musicians. Walter Murdock, LCDR, USN (Ret.) is the genius that first reported ACI among the Hollywood elites and this led to a popularization of the term on the Internet.
