It seems to me that if Kerry is clean then there is nothing to worry about the private investigation. The same things goes for private investigation's of Bush's military service. Quite frankly if I lost my ability to fly jets and had to sit around doing nothing on drill weekends because I have an "obligation" to serve weekend detention sessions, I'd be less than motivated to go to drill.
