The dollar has found friends - no idea who or for how long.
But $ needs to still break 90.50 to confirm the low else it is still prone to a decline.

Yen and Japanese recovery are exposed to high oil. Despite their nuclear plant network, high oil affects Japan, and could derail the 'recovery'.

My wife just came back from three weeks in Osaka. My father-in-law had three businesses there before he retired.

Me: "Do you think your friends and family are more positive about Japan's future now?"
Her: "Nope, its the same as three years ago. The people read the news and it has no bearing on reality". (Sounds like the US?)

The word from the street-but perhaps we should take it with a grain of salt.
