Brown and Root was a company that made perhaps the most money off of Vietnam. It was owned at the time by Claudia Johnson, better known as Ladybird. At the time it was the biggest non-union construction company in the country. It is now called Kellogg Brown and Root and is owned by Haliburton. Some people suspect Lyndon of being involved in Kennedys death in some way. I doubt this is true but Brown and Root was a big incentive for him.
