SEC investigator Spence Barasch said his agency could not release or comment on Cheney's testimony because a case is pending against former Halliburton Chief Financial Officer Gary Morris, who was with the company at the time of the alleged violations.

The SEC NEVER discloses information once a case is pending. So the Kerry campaign can cook up whatever malicious spin they would like without reprisals. Once the case is resolved, I'm quite confident that Cheney will be vindicated. Alas, that vindication will be old news and not get published by the media. However, your boy Kerry,(you know, the one that is not running a negative campaign), will have scored his political points by making allegations without proof. This is typical.
