The rightwing congress is the problem. Pork barrel maniacs. Tom Delay is the biggest pork barrel spending corrupt oil slicker ever. He is single handedly costing taxpayers billions. How did these oil-rich Texans take over our government anyway? What's wrong with the GOP that they let these creeps control them?

You make too much sense and are right on. But people love to spend the next generation's money and politicians give it to them for votes.

Also, never blame the voters or you'll never get elected.
I think it was Marx who said the capitalism will fail when people realize they can vote themselves all the money.

Neither candidate addresses the problems (correctly, IMHO) I see for the country going forward. If there was ever a year for a viable third party this it it. 2008 will likely be worse or too late.
