That appearance was my inspiration for my posts of him.
Mario Cuomo is a poet as well-earned a description of, as any who put true words together in an essay.
If anyone here reads that speech I posted here of his in 1984, and comes away with anything less than awe of the man, you must be above all the clouds, all the planets, sitting beside whatever higher being that drives your life.
