RE: "a decline in 200mm orders affects several other companies in its coverage, "most notably" Axcelis Technologies (nasdaq: ACLS - news - people ), as well as Applied Materials (nasdaq: AMAT - news - people ), Lam Research (nasdaq: LRCX - news - people ) and Novellus Systems (nasdaq: NVLS - news - people )."

Nobody can deny "a decline in 200mm orders affects...", but, higher interest rates, higher oil prices, slower GDP growth, and the election outcome also "affect".

Don't pay attention to what comes out in news blurbs. These guys are poor writers and their work suffers even more when it is excerpted.
