Kerry is Gore and Carter but trying to look like John Kennedy and Clinton. You can tell from my posts that at best this is a lesser evil type of election. As of now, i am for bush but would like to see him accomodate my part of the "base" (supply siders and libertarians) and not just the christian conservatives. I would like some fessing up for mistakes and not perpetual denial. Rummy should have been fired long ago imo. Cheney should be dumped with an appropriate excuse--Halliburton paying fines while he was a ceo can be used as an excuse by Darth Cheney. For example if the new veep were powell he could double the black vote and clearly take the lead in states like florida, Pa, Ohio, MN, WI etc. CB, you like most of us here are a political wonk and you will analyse swift boat stuff until you decide what the deal is. For dems and reps their minds are made up. For most independents i maintain they will give kerry the benefit of the doubt on vietnam. What needs to be focused on is not something that makes him a hero to dems and acceptable in the WOT to mods and indys. We need to focus on 20 years of stupid views and lack of any accomplishments.
