Cheney doesn't talk much about his 10 years in Congress, during which he passed a total of 2 bills, but people like you never mention that.

Well Oral, what do Vietnam vets think of Bush's service record? All the Vietnam vets I know considered Guard guys "sh*theads" at the time, because the Guard then was a place for the sons of the rich and connected to avoid Vietnam. Bush didn't just avoid Vietnam by getting daddy to jump him over other more qualified, less connected rich boys to get IN, he skipped out on the Guard and went AWOL, and got daddy to fix THAT! I'll take Kerry any day of the week, and a lot of vets will too.

As for Kerry's Senate record, it's a source of pride for his supporters:
