Jim Rassmann, an Army veteran who was saved by Kerry, said there were only six crewmates who served with Kerry on his boat. Five support his candidacy and one is deceased. He constantly harps that 13 men who served with Kerry stood with him on the stage. Jim Rassman, the guy who Kerry saved is quoted as saying there are only 5 remaining who served. So the other 8 are supporters who didn't serve on his crew.. Swift Boat men are not supporters who were right next to him on a daily basis.
