I'm one of the "many other Americans" who is in total agreement with you. I am tired of the rampant America-bashing. Maybe we should try political and military isolationism for a few years....can you imagine the squealing from Europe if we went that route?

I personally am not aware of many Americans that don't have the desire to hear the competitiveness thrust we need to undertake.

The competitive spirit is extremely important for our country's survival.

Complacency is an ingredient for a downfall. Self-critical competitiveness isn't.
