Imus should have shelled out the extra cash to buy the Hummer, instead of the washed down version, the hummer 2 (I'm sure Fred could have told him that <g>) Just replaced my F350, with an F250 XLT 6.0 turbo diesel..18 mi/gal fresh out of the box, compared to 9-10 mi/gal with the f350 (351 cu in, gas)..not to mention the increase in hp (325) and torque (550 ft lbs.)
engines have come a long way, especially when comparing todays performance numbers with say the numbers from the muscle car era...heck, new toyota's put out more hp, than say an old goat, 442,,or big block mopars...on the subject of hp,,a customer of mine suggested I take a peak in his garage yesterday..there sitting in the bay was a 1986 Ruf Porsche turbo Carrera, 35,000 original miles...465hp...can you grab the $100 bill off the dashboard accellering from 0-60?,,,I doubt it<lol>...
