I think Lieberman could have gotten the Dems the White House. Anybody remotely moderate and there is enough folks uncomfortable with Bush that it should have been a slam dunk. They blew it. And mark my words, JFK turning Vietnam into the highlight of his career was a huge mistake. If he and his handlers didn't understand the number of vets who despise him over his post war nonsense they are fools. And now those vets are going to take on Mr JFK and JFK is going to have to attack these war heros and it's just going to be a mess IMO. Very dumb move on their part.
