On the issue of "no show", President Carter, a Nobel Laureat and considered by many as a spiritual person has in his Convention speech said that "Kerry signed up and showed up." Now he did not say anything about Bush directly. But then I wonder why he would have put Kerry's record in that perspective if he was not insinuating that Bush did not keep his word.

If Clinton can blame himself as well as "the current President and the VP" to have used the connections to avoid Vietnam service then I think it is best to leave that issue there.
